60 Minute Makeover – ITV Daytime TV Programme

We are proud to be part of this very popular ITV programme – 60 minute makeover. Over the last 12 months we have been involved in many shows two of which have been aired and the others are due to be screened in the new year.

Tuesday 2nd June – Stockport

“When Martin’s brother Andrew recently died after a long illness, the family was devastated and Marjorie wanted to bring some happiness to them all again so she surprise her son, Martin, with a makeover.”

The designer looked on our website www.homefurnitureland.co.uk and she selected a Glenmore light oak 1139 sideboard which is one of our best selling items of solid oak furniture. This sideboard was used in the dining room and was a fantastic focal point. This solid hardwood sideboard is beautifully handmade using skilled craftsmanship, and top grade oak.

Friday 5th June – Milton Keynes

“Jenny called us in to help surprise her sister Hayley who lives with her husband Danny and their 6 year old son Tyler. Shortly after they moved into their house Hayley was diagnosed with MS which meant that any plans to decorate their new home had to be put on hold – until now! In just one hour we made over the kitchen diner, living room, main bedroom and Tyler’s room.”

Once again after the designer had been on our website www.homefurnitureland.co.uk and he selected a dark Rothbury solid oak 508 chest of drawers and two dark Delamere solid oak 302 bedside tables for this project. They were used in the Mum and Dad’s bedroom and they beautifully complimented the colour selected for the walls and the lighting. The designer did a fantastic job of bringing out the depth of colour of the oak with his keen eye for detail. All three items of dark solid oak are brilliantly made with dovetail joints and finished with t-bar polished steel handles.
